We are excited to announce that we are recruiting to our Kit Rental Admin Worker role. This role coordinates the Leeds Urban Harvest kit booking system and supports groups from the community to access our 3 sets of apple pressing kit.

Leeds Urban Harvest is all about stopping excess fruit from going to waste and supporting the people across Leeds to do the same. So if you are passionate about reducing food waste, supporting community events and squashing apples, then this could be the role for you.

This role is a combination of home based administrative support and coordinating kit borrows via our storage at All Hallows in Hyde Park so applicants must have access to both of these options. This is a contract for someone who is self-employed so you will need to take responsibility for invoicing us and all associated legal requirements.

The role is ideally suited to a self motivated person looking for flexible hours to be worked across the week, in coordination with those booking the kit. The role will be supported by the volunteers at Leeds Urban Harvest and will require availability from late August, 1st September at the latest.

  • Fixed term part-time contract
  • 5 hours per week for 10 weeks
  • £15 per hour
